This one had me thinking…
My one-night stay took a turn for the worse. The room was dated and severely lacked cleanliness with dirty sheets and a bathroom covered in mold. It felt unsafe outside, and I spotted bugs crawling about. Definitely not what I expected based on past experiences with this chain.

Ask for a room away from resident areas for a quieter stay and better atmosphere.

Had a decent stay with a cozy double room and enjoyed lounging by the outdoor pool. The complimentary breakfast options were simple but enough to get the day started. The only downside was a bit of wear on the furniture, but it didn’t ruin my experience at all. 😊

My stay was a mixed bag. The pool was excellent and well-kept, but the breakfast options were quite lacking. I appreciate the convenience of my room location, but the infamous mold smell was hard to ignore.

Can recommend for getting around area
Clean room, comfortable bed, with free parking and convenient access off Interstate 10 for exploring the area.
The breakfast area was cramped and tough to navigate when busy.

missingWrote a review on Jul 14pet-friendly policiesdirect accesscleanliness issues
The motel features pet-friendly policies, which is a plus for those traveling with dogs. Direct access to Interstate 10 makes it convenient for road trips, and the basic breakfast options, though minimal, can tide you over until your next meal.
This place has seen better days. Rooms had severe cleanliness issues — stains on walls, a persistent unpleasant odor in certain rooms, and mold noted in the bathrooms. The breakfast selection lacks variety. cold boiled eggs and limited choices don't cut it for the morning meal, especially when the area is cramped with limited seating. The layout entails walking outside to get to the lobby, which may not sit well with everyone, especially in inclement weather. Overall, a rundown property that feels neglected, not quite up to par with La Quinta's usual standards.

Tallahassee's culinary scene is a winner! Crystal River Seafood served up some of the freshest dishes—I almost danced with joy! The breakfast spread had decent offerings to fuel my day, though I could've used a splash of milk for the cereal. it's like having a fish without the swim! Plus, my room was clean and comfy, making it cozy.
The vibe around the hotel was a bit sketchy with the unkempt surroundings. Also, the breakfast area could've used a good scrub—cereal but no milk? What am I, a squirrel? Still, I managed to find some tasty bites nearby to tide me over.

Target audience should avoid
I had a moment when I found a corner in the lounge where the light hit just right, it made the whole dreary experience a bit bearable. The only saving grace was when one of the staff actually tried to help fix the broken ADA shower head, but unfortunately we found more problems than fixes.
This place wasn’t a bargain by any stretch.

It was just a reliable pick for a short weekend trip in Tallahassee with great value-to-price ratio. The staff was nice and helped us quickly when we had issues with the TV, offering to move us without hassle. For breakfast, plan on something simple since choices are limited.

missingWrote a review on Mar 09staff attemptroom cleanlinessoverall safetyhygiene issueunpleasant atmosphere
The atmosphere felt questionable and the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I initially found my room unclean, with a shoe print on the bed and roaches spotted. This situation made me concerned about overall safety and hygiene. Despite the issues, I appreciated the staff's attempt to resolve the situation, even though it didn't help my experience much. I was in town for a family matter, and given the circumstances, I had to leave early due to the condition of my room.
